The Stingers fall season is well underway and there’s a lot to recap.

The fall season started early in September with a tight game against Rappahannock. The Stingers were able to put up a strong defense to edge out a 2 pt win.

The Stingers recouped and joined DC Revolution in a friendly match against George Washington on 9/21. Despite the hot weather, all teams gained valuable match experience and had a great time. The Stingers continued to build their game play the following weekend against the DC Furies in a friendly scrimmage.

This past weekend, the Stingers were back at it with their 2nd matrix match against Frederick. A solid defense and strong offensive support gave the Stingers the win. Good interplay between the Stingers’ forwards and back made for great rugby from end to end.

The Stingers look forward to their two upcoming fundraisers and last two away matrix matches of the fall season in the coming weeks.
